Theories of truth:

1) correspondence – There is correspondence between statement and the material world and a correspondence between two statements

2) disclosure – questioning the foundations or premises on which the correspondence theory is based.

Event of truth – a moment in which you engaged with the world. These are personal events.

Event of truth in modern science, when you engage via a tool rather than directly.

Is he talking about revealing a truth or creating it? I think he thinks he’s taking about creating it but is in fact talking about discovering it. Essentially students should experience the discovery moments for themselves if they are going to be excited by it.
